Marylnn

I still haven't finished the bottoms yet, but I will! I don't know if I've said it yet or not, but I created my own pattern from three different ones that I liked. Does that mean I created my own pattern and therefore I get to name it? I'm not quite sure yet, but frankly, 'honeymoon bikini' is a long title for a bikini. It's not a novel or something, just a bathing suit! I was thinking of calling it Marylnn. Sort-of a take-off of Marilyn Monroe's name. But for all I know, that name could be copy write! so I'll just call it Marylnn now. I'm planning on created a whole line of these with different names like that and...........woah, ok I'm getting way ahead of myself! I'll just finish Marylnn first.

Fire......Finished?

Ok. Yes, I did finish Fire. Does it look good? Does it look like I wanted it to? Am i proud of it? The answer to all of these questions is a resounding.........NO! I HATED how it turned out, but Caleb said it was ok. Of course, I have yet to see him wear it in the 2 days since I've made it. He's worn Ice and thats it. I suppose I don't blame him. I didn't even take pictures of it I was so frustrated and discussed with it. But I suppose every knitter has at least one of those projects in their knitting careers. And hopefully this was my last!

Honeymoon Bikini

Just as the title of this post suggests, I am making my own honeymoon bikini. It is white with blue/silver yarn and white trim. I don't have any pix of this yet, but I do have the cups for the top done as well as half of the bottoms. But I do have a little while until it has to be finished. I have until May at least. And besides, if I don't like how it turned out, I can always make another one!

Fire

Well, since Ice is finally done, I have gotten to work on Fire. I'm not very far along on it, but just give me time! Ive got the ribbing on the bottom done (I don't have a pix of that yet but I will!) and I've started work on the main body of it. It is just enough different from Ice (other than the yarn) to be told apart. Oh! And just a word on this yarn: I LOVE IT! It is amazing! So much fun to knit and watch how the colors join and blend!

Ice

What exactly am I supposed to say about this hat? It was my first adult hat, although I have made several baby hats already. (I do not have any children and I don't even know any babies, but all well!) It is my own original pattern, and my brother (who the hat was for) picked out the yarn---totally awesome yarn btw! He's in one of the pix modeling his hat. Of course, as you can tell, he was not happy about me taking a lot of pictures and his expression showed it.
